What a day! Laura's gift to her bridesmaids was an afternoon at the spa. Laura, Rebecca, and I spent 3 hours at Austin Springs Day Spa getting a manicure, pedicure, and massage. It was a wonderful treat! As we were leaving Laura got a voicemail message from Jeremiah. He had stabbed his thumb with a knife while working on a dog lot at his parents' house. So after a trip to the emergency room for stitches they headed to Jonesborough for the rehearsal and dinner. Evie and Andrew did wonderful at the rehearsal. Evie dropped her pretend flower petals from her pretend basket with lots of flair and turned around when she got to the end of the aisle and said, "Come on Auntie Laura." It was so cute. We had a great dinner at the Dogwood Cafe. Phil and I had steaks that were some of the best we've ever eaten. Evie just had to sit with Auntie Laura. She hardly ate her burger and fries, but she entertained herself with two straws and a glass of water. Andrew was a little fussy until his food came but then he had fun eating his ketchup with fries.
